Land and Estates
The land and estates department is responsible for carrying out a number of activities associated with the Diocese.
It is responsible for keeping of lands and Estates Inventory records, Safe guarding Church land, property and Estates. The department is obliged to oversee Leasing and Clearing, re opening of boundaries, attending to land and property disputes and proper utilization of land and property in the Diocese.
To supervision of construction of buildings on church land, when they are on proper plan and properly allocated and being in charge of the disposal and sale of property excluding land as well as processing all Architectural plans/drawings for church and other buildings for approval by the Bishop.
The Lands and Estates Advisor liaises with all other Departments in similar fields like Education Department, Planning & Development.
